We have about 30 minutes to the meeting so we relax for a while and see that Brother K. Beardmore P.G.J.O.  The Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Brother Ian Nairn P.G.J.D. The Provincial Assistant Secretary tells me that the Provincial Grand Master wants to speak with the Provincial Director of Ceremonies, Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Standard bearer and me the Deputy Sword Bearer, we go into the bar and the PGM tells the members that he dedicated the Lodge 4 years ago and would like tonight to carry on that by taking the chair again and opening Provincial Grand Lodge during the meeting so that he was able to strew salt on the Lodge and its members, and nobody had any idea what was going on. He told us what he wanted and we were able to do that for him.
